Overview
Based on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, Yas Marina Circuit is considered one of the most technologically advanced Formula 1® circuits in the world and a home for motorsports in the Middle East.
Yas Marina Circuit was unveiled on 30th October 2009 with the final race of the Formula 1® World Championship – the inaugural FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX – to a crowd around 60,000 spectators.
Our versatile facility opened its doors to the world after two years of intensive planning and construction involving 14,000 staff and 35 million construction man-hours. The United Arab Emirates was eager to take in the beautiful landscaping and traditional Arabic hospitality alongside sensational on-track action. Yas Marina Circuit encourages the growth of sporting culture in the UAE and prides itself on being the centre for motorsports excellence in the Middle East.
Yas Marina Driving Experience – Yas 3000
Before getting into the driver’s seat you’ll be suited up in full race gear and helmet, and receive a technical briefing from your racing coach. Next, you’ll take familiarization laps around the circuit in a Renault vehicle. During these slow laps, your coach will explain the racing line and how to approach each corner.

Important
- Minimum age is 18 years
- Valid driving license required
- Driver must know how to drive manual transmission
- Minimum height is 160cm and maximum height is 188cm
- Maximum weight is 105kg
- Closed-toe shoes only - soft-soled shoes are recommended, and no sandals or high heels allowed
